Bob Butera, PhD
Founder & Programs Director
Robert is the founder of The YogaLife Institute and the publisher of Yoga Living magazine. He studied yoga at The Yoga Institute of Mumbai. He holds Masters in Divinity from the Earlham School of Religion and a Ph.D. in Yoga Philosophy & Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies.
With over 25 years of continual teaching experience, Bob is known for sharing Classical Yoga principles in a practical way that connects students with their own divinity. He is also is the author of three books, The Pure Heart of Yoga, Meditation for Your Life and Yoga Therapy for Stress and Anxiety (Llewellyn Worldwide).
Owner & Programs Director
Kristen is the owner of the YogaLife Institute and the editor of Yoga Living Magazine. She has been studying and teaching for fifteen years, accumulating 3000+ hours of professional training in a variety of styles. Her passion is for training yoga teachers and therapists, creating a learning environment that helps students connect modern anatomical and scientific innovations with the ancient wisdom of practice. She is the author of Yoga Therapy for Active Living (Human Kinetics, 2017).
Yoga Teacher, Massage Therapist, Reiki Master
Al is a gifted massage therapist who has been practicing Yoga, Meditation & Reiki for over 15 years. As a long time member of the YogaLife community, he is thrilled to be teaching at YogaLife. He is a graduate of the 250 Yoga Teacher Training, and a student in the Level 2 Comprehensive Yoga Therapy Training at YogaLife.
Randi Coen Gilbert
Yoga Teacher & Yoga Therapist, Pre & Post Natal Yoga Specialist
Randi has been teaching at YogaLife since 2001. She holds advanced certifications in Pre & Pose Natal Yoga & Yoga Therapy along with her doula certification. She also has a Masters Degree in Drama Therapy and works as a therapist, counselor and child advocate. She considers her two children to be her greatest Zen Masters and is constantly learning lessons from them. She loves being a part of the YogaLife community and sharing her practice with others.
Yoga Teacher & Yoga Therapist, Vinyasa & Fitness Yoga Specialist
Erika found her home at YogaLife and has been teaching here since 2004. She holds advanced certifications in Yoga & Yoga Therapy. She is also a skin care specialist and manual lymphatic drainage massage practitioner. Erika is a firm believer in the tenets of yogic tradition, she relishes the opportunity to share her yoga vision and experience with her students.
Yoga Teacher & Yoga Therapist, Neuroscientist
Jen has been dedicated yoga practitioner of over 20 years. She discovered YogaLife in 2004 and has since completed specialized training in Yoga & Yoga Therapy. She has a Masters Degree in Neuroscience, and as a mother and athlete her passions include educating families about the benefits of healthy eating and breath awareness, along with playing tennis, biking, traveling and spending quality time with family and friends.

Janet's yoga life began in 1973 in Germantown with the center that became the Kripalu Yoga Fellowship. She developed a strong connection to the Kripalu community, and she completed her 200-hour certification in 1976, under the mentoring of Yogi Amrit Desai. She joined the YogaLife family in 2010 as a teacher and a student, completing advanced certifications in Yoga & Yoga Therapy, Janet is a retired schoolteacher who worked in the local area for more than 20 years.
Yoga Teacher & Fitness Specialist
Nannette's early high school years placed her on a spiritual path. In College, she met Swami Muktananda and Yogi Amrit Desai Yoga and fell in love with the teachings of Yoga. In the following decades of committed yoga practice, she had the honor to study with many wonderful teachers, fully immersing herself in classes, workshops, immersions, intensives and certifications. As a result her teaching is imbued with a variety of styles and perspectives, including Mindfulness Meditation and Fitness Training. Her goal is to inspire students to move mindfully with a lighthearted and playful attitude. Nannette is a graduate of the 500 Yoga Teacher Training Program at the YogaLife Institute.

Jane began her educational journey with an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Immaculata University. As a stay at home mom she began instructing group fitness classes. It was at this time that she fell in love with the practice of yoga. She is graduate of the 250-hour Teacher Training and 40-hour Yin Yoga Training programs at YogaLife. In addition she holds a certification in Reiki Level One. She is also currently pursuing her certification in the 820 Hour Comprehensive Yoga Therapy Training. Jane loves teaching yoga and considers it an honor to share the practice with others.
Susan first started practicing Yoga in 1995 in order to compliment her athletic pursuits of competitive swimming and running. She is graduate of the 250-hour Teacher Training and 40-hour Yin Yoga Training programs at YogaLife. Today, Susan manages her time as a parent to her two young children and developing her skills as both a Yoga student and a Yoga teacher. She continues to seek out ways to grow her knowledge and share it with others.
Holly Brinton- Bomba
Yoga Teacher, Pre & Post Natal Specialist
Holly Brinton-Bomba became passionate about Yoga when she sustained multiple injuries while delivering her fourth child. Holly was fortunate to have a Physical Therapist introduce her to specific Hatha Yoga postures, to be practiced daily to alleviate her discomfort. Holly became hooked and sought ways to deepen her practice physically as well as spiritually. In 2009 she began Classical Yoga Teacher Training at Yogalife Institute and has never looked back. Holly is an E-Registered Yoga Teacher, Certified Children’s Yoga Teacher, and a Reiki ll, specializing in Hatha, Children’s Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Kundalini, PreNatal & Yin Yoga. Holly is presently enrolled in the Comprehensive Yoga Therapy Training at Yogalife Institute.
Yoga Teacher & Fitness Specialist
Colleen comes from a background of playing sports non-stop as a kid. Growing up she continued her active lifestyle becoming a personal trainer and CrossFit coach. She graduated college with an Associates in Business/Entrepreneurship. In January 2016 she finished her 250 hour training at YogaLife and began teaching yoga right away. She is currently pursing her RYT 500 at YogaLife, with hopes of studying Comprehensive Yoga Therapy in the future. Colleens enjoys coaching, hiking, and beach reading.

Kelly began practicing yoga in 2006 and noticed immediate relief from a particular stressful time in her life. Within a few months decided to deepen her yoga studies with Robert Butera, PhD at the YogaLife Institute in Devon, PA. She has over 1000 hours of Classical Yoga training and is one of the first graduates of the Comprehensive Yoga Therapy training at the YogaLife Institute. Kelly practices yoga as a lifestyle and is committed to teaching the principles of yoga so that students may learn to live a more peaceful, balanced, and joyful life. Kelly also enjoys bicycling, gardening and entertaining friends and family with her husband at their home in Saint Peters Village.
Yoga Teacher, Physical Therapist Assistant
Christine Sturgis, mother of five, sports enthusiast and yoga practitioner of 20+ years, has spent the last 10 years developing a career applying two of her greatest passions: helping others and movement. She is a licensed PTA and RYT, trained in SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment) and certified in FMS (Functional Movement Screen), giving her a wide range of knowledge and experience in movement synergies that she is able to pass on to her students/clients. She is an enthusiastic participant in many sports and activities, deeply understanding that efficiency of movement in a balanced exercise program will allow us to actively participate in the activities that we love for many years to come, she is one with you!!

Mark Moliterno, MM, E-RYT500, C-IAYT, POLY® is an accomplished professional opera singer, voice teacher, yoga teacher, IAYT-certified yoga therapist, workshop leader, and author and is known as a specialist in helping people understand and overcome physical and energetic blockages to their authentic voices. Mark is the founder of YogaVoice®, a unique program which combines the eight-fold path of yoga with user-friendly voice techniques to develop authenticity and wellness in personal communication. Mark is a co-author and featured instructor on The Musician’s Breath Book & DVD. Practicing for 32 years, his classes encourage students to focus on their breathing and personal intention as focal points for physical expression in their yoga postures.
Gaby Evers has been practicing yoga regularly since 2008. She completed her 250 hour teacher training at the YogaLife Institute and immediately began teaching classes. Gaby brings her love of sports and fitness to her classes through static and dynamic poses with a focus on strength, flexibility, mobility, balance and breath. Gaby enjoys teaching yoga to kids, teens, and adults and believes that yoga is instrumental in leading a healthy, active, injury-free lifestyle. She is devoted to consistently increasing her knowledge of yoga and yoga philosophy and bringing that knowledge to her practice and her students. Gaby lives in Wayne with her husband, two children and their beagle.
