Continuing Education for Mental Health Professionals

 Earn CEU credits for professional workshops valid in PA for Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Professional Counselors.

Post-Traumatic Growth through Writing & Trauma Sensitive Yoga

with Kanjana Hartshorne, LCSW, RYT500 and Anjana Deshpande, MBA, LCSW, CPT

April 8, 1 PM - 7 PM

Trauma lives in our body and impacts our mind.  This 5 CEU workshop will identify the impact of trauma on mental and physical health and demonstrate how yoga and therapeutic writing can help create new neural pathways in the brain.  Participants will also learn about what trauma sensitive yoga and writing is. Please wear comfortable clothing for movement and bring a journal.


  1. Learn about the three qualities of therapeutic writing and trauma sensitive yoga
  2. Learn how to use therapeutic writing and yoga for trauma survivors
  3. Learn how writing and yoga impact the neural pathways in our brain
  4. Learn at least four techniques of therapeutic writing to assist in managing trauma
