Level Three Training - Refine & Actualize

Refine Expertise & Actualize Potential

Level III of the Comprehensive Yoga Therapy program at YogaLife Institute continues to expound upon the foundational concepts, understanding, and experience from Level I. Level III is considered “modular” in the sense that, while all of the topics are continuous both within this stage of the training and the full program, each intensive study weekend really focuses in on a particular topic – in essence developing some depth in a particular area from the perspective of each training session while still expanding breadth throughout the course. The applications, anatomy, assessments, and all other aspects of the program are orchestrated in this focused study.

YogaLife’s Comprehensive Yoga Therapy format is non-linear, and while Level I is offered yearly, Levels II and III alternate year to year. As such, graduates of Level I need not wait to complete Level II before enrolling in Level III, particularly if their graduation year falls during the same time Level II is being offered. Graduates of the Level I program are qualified and eligible to take either Level II or III, in either order. We view these two branches of the program as parallels – one directing focus towards disease-specific stress management and lifestyle, while the other honing in on particular applications of yogic study. Each is equally important and while supported by the other is not immediately required by it. This makes your process flexible and suitable to your needs and life demands!**

Some of the special focus topics offered in Level III of the training to refine our trainees’ skills include:

• Teaching and utilizing meditation as a tool for lifestyle change
• Unique perspectives on working with “the core” from both the physical and psychosomatic approaches
• Therapeutic applications and techniques for adaptive asana practice
• Utilizing sound and chanting for healing
• Yogic understanding and techniques for Nutritional Support
• Applications of Yin and Restorative yoga in the therapeutic perspective
• Yoga Therapy for Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Addiction & Recovery

**A formal syllabus is provided at the first meeting of the training outlining all of the specifics and requirements built into these hour designations.
