Over the last 30 years of I have explored the yoga therapy lifestyle process with people from all walks of life, working to empower people to make positive changes to their well-being while they improve their overall experience of life.
As co-founder of the internationally accredited Comprehensive Yoga Therapy training program and the founder of YogaLife Institute, I have trained thousands of yoga teachers and yoga therapists. I have seen the principles of Yoga Therapy succeed over and over again when applied with an eye towards individual needs and goals. A ‘yoga class,’ that you may have attended, includes Yoga poses for fitness or stretching, breathing and relaxation. In order to maximize the Yoga practices and align them with their intended goal of maximizing human potential, we use Yoga practices as a support to the self-realization motive of Classical Yoga or capital “Y” Yoga. We are after understanding the limits in the mind that hold us back from loving fully, working with a spiritual attitude, eating clean, meditating effectively and reaching our full potential.
Yoga Therapy adapts to your needs be they physical, mental, emotional, energetic or spiritual. Rather than view you as a person with stress or anxiety, a person with health condition or a person who needs fixing, you are viewed as a unique human being first. You know what you need, I can provide expert support to harness your inner wisdom. I ask what may appear as very obvious questions that unlock blocks from the potential you already possess, and I can offer various exercises and practices to help you be the full you.

What to Expect
The initial sessions will be information gathering and intention setting to build rapport and have a direction for growth. Communication with clients around their current medical treatment and health practitioner network will be established early on to inform the Yoga Therapist and guide them towards making connections with this network.
It is important to know that the approach is custom-fit to the client. Typically six to eight sessions constitute the beginning program; with sessions scheduled at one to two week intervals at the onset and then tailored to individual needs and scheduling considerations.

Take control of the lifestyle factors that are preventing or detracting from your health. Develop discipline as you empower yourself to affect small but consistent positive changes in your daily life.
